Navigational Poker Run
ARE YOU IN?!
We’re holding an all breed navigational Poker Run(chance and skill) with a twist of poker! Saturday, Nov 8th out of the Chaos Fab Shop in Berryville, VA, 9am -4 pm. Entry fee/donation for the event will be $25 for a single player, plus $10 for every additional player in the same vehicle. We’re doing this to raise funds to bring in the heavy equipment necessary to build a real obstacle course at the Chaos Off-Road park. This is road-based for the most part, but the points we’ve selected are on scenic back roads, some of them being dirt.
Rules: Arrive at Chaos Fab Shop in the am,and get your coordinates. There are 30 possible destination points, you navigate to as many as you can in the allotted time, and take pictures as proof of your visit. When you come back to the shop, you will exchange your photos for poker cards. We will play a five card stud, so if you visited more than five places, you can choose which five cards you’d like to keep. Best poker hands wins prizes and we all get to have a great time.
Start and End Location. The Orienteering-Poker Run (OPR) will start and begin at Chaos Fab Shop, 520 Jack Enders Blvd. Ste F., Berryville, VA 22611
Schedule of Events (Day of)
7:30 AM All volunteers on-site
8:00 AM On-site registration begins
9:00 AM Drivers brief – this marks the official start of the event.
3:00 PM Food, drink, games and music until 5 PM.
4:00 PM Orienteering event ends. Must be back at start point.
5:00 PM Door prizes, club winner, poker hand winners
5:00 PM Sunset (FYI)
5:28 PM Dark (FYI)
This is a family friendly, stock friendly game that you can play in any vehicle, Jeep, car, truck, motorcycle. Brains vs. built!
