My first gen 4Runner, a silver '87 SR5 4cyl was dubbed "The Silver Bullet" by a sarcastic cohort who was unimpressed with it's top speed while ascending the pass up I70 out of Denver.
I've subsequently owned 2 more "Silver Bullets", a 2000 SR5 and 2013 Trail Edition, each one being 13 model-years
