No problem! I'm thinking about upgrading my wheels also to give my rig a wider stance also! Did you have to trim your valance to accomodate your Procomps and 285's?
Fightman80, I like those wheels on your rig. I'm not trying to start anything but it says on ProComp's site that the 1079's are 4" backspacing on the 16x8's. Do you have any rubbing issues with the 285's on those rims?
Back in June I had my S.S.1.2 lift installed and now it seems my low beam headlights are shining very low due to the raked stance. How difficult is it to adjust the lights back to normal?
Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm really happy with my lift and tire choice. I do plan on touching up the undercarriage very soon. The road salt from this past winter caused alot of that to appear:sobbing:. I gained close to 3"in the front and a little over 4.5" in the back with the SS1.2...
I finally got my new Nitto Terra Grapplers installed today! The size is LT265/75R16. I really like the new look! It's beefier looking than my worn P265/70s. The ride is smooth and quiet too! Here are some newly updated pics:party:
Thanks! I really like the lift so far! I decided on trading my 285s for 265s for several reasons. They would rub on the a-arms slightly at full lock with stock rims but that could be fixed with spacers. The problem is in PA it's illegal to run spacers over 1/4". I could've bought new wheels with...
Yeah! No loss of power will be an added bonus. I hope the tires will at least give me another 3/4" to 1" of added ground clearance over my worn P265/70R16s.
I just wanted to update everyone on my Runner. I'm sorry that I haven't posted pics yet! I've been working alot of overtime lately and have been busy doing alot of chores around the house! After alot of debating, I finally decided on trading my 285's for some 265/75R16 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I...
Wow! That does look better! How steep are your cv axles? How much did you crank them up? Do you have some ground to fender measurements before and after? Thanx!
I'm just curious! Are you running wheel spacers with your stock rims? Did you rub any when you ran your 285s with just the 3" susp. lift? Correct me if I'm wrong but a stock 4.625" backspaced wheel with a 1.25" spacer would equal to a new backspacing of 3.375".
