Anyone with 3rd Gen do the Scion HU install yet?

Both my 2003 tacoma and my 2002 4runner were affected and I had them both fixed.

I just had 6.5" Boston Acoustics in front and 4'' in rear and they sound great!

I too have the noise from the fan. Its not when I have the ac on but anytime I have the fan on the slowest setting. As soon as I turn up the speed it goes away.

I just traded a 2003 tacoma prerunner in for my 2002 sr5 4runner. 3 days before I traded my tacoma in I had the recall done and so I asked the stealership if I would have to do the same with the 4runnner. They said yes and I have to spend 3 hours on sat having it done. I hadnt recieved a notice...
