    I would also recommend the 4x4 as it will give better forward traction in the rain. The traction control helps in 2wd but I have noticed the VSC cuts back the engine power when turning and accelerating hard to prevent spinning out. In 4wd it seems to me it is less prone to leave you hanging...

    Don't worry about the premium gas thing, both engines run on 87 octane. Toyota states that you can run on 87 octane but recommends using 91 for improverd performance. I have not noticed a difference in performance between the two grades. There are no knocking or pinging problems with the 87...

    Performance Parts for the 2003 V6 4 Runner?

    I recently sent an email to TRD asking about upgrades and the reply was: "We have no plans for upgrades for the 4.0L V6" :50cal: I certainly hope they are kidding. If not I think we need to start hammering. I would love to supercharge my 4.0L
