I just gone done installing a new Alpine headunit w/ XM and iPod connectivity on my 06 SR5 with the base audio package. The sound improvement is nice, and I haven't even replaced the stock speakers yet. I spent maybe 2 hrs doing it, but only because it was my first time taking a 4th gen...

I just put a valor tip on my 06 4Runner, and it makes it look "nicer". Takes 5 minutes to put on.

My 06 SR5 came with factory chrome door handles.. I don't think it's just a cover. They look nice on the black 4Runner...

Cool, I'll have to do that... Give him a chance to deal with another black 4Runner...

Which tweeter? I went to look at the one in Bel Air, and they were less than friendly....

Yeah, I guess it would make the 3 hr drive out there more tolerable... I'm in the process of putting in some headrest monitors, but I think I'm gonna do a not-so-permanent mount... Depends on what I can come up with.. Plus, I'm afraid to cut my headrests!

If I didn't have 2 kids who need the space and a wife who nags, I'd be tempted to do something similar! Nice system...

And the colors... They make it difficult to stay on the site for more than a few seconds without seeing spots!

Actually, that's my neighbor's 04 or SR5.. Another "Throw it in gear and hit the gas" job...

Exactly what I did... her car, I had to shovel out.. man I'm sore!
