Yes, the difference in ride between a unibody and body on frame vehicle is HUGE, but that is beyond the scope of this conversation.

I replaced the worn stock shocks on a Jeep Grand Cherokee with Bilsiein 4600 HD shocks once. I did not experience a harsh ride. I did however notice the body roll in corners was minimized significantly. Of course the Grand Cherokee is a unibody and our T4Rs are body on frame.

Based on the intel you provided the Bilstein 4600 HD series front and back would be a good option for you.
