Its spelled tires. And you would want 31/10.5/15, taking its a second gen 4runner.

I was reading alot that they go out again and toyota does not pay for it. Is the reason it costs so much because of labor? If i did it myself how much woould it be? Because new head gaskets and bolts are only like $100.

Mabye you should take it to a shop to have a look at it.

My 4runner had the recall done at 117,xxx miles. It now has 155,xxx miles. Is it possible to just replace the head gasket before it blows, just to avoid it going again. And if so what is the best head gasket I can buy for it?

Did you rebiuld the motor yourself?

1995 tr4, 155,000. Replaced head gasket and then had to replace lower block, all on recall of course:) .

So those old man coil springs you linked to will level it out? I meant to say coil springs not shocks in my earlier post.

So i guess i will go with a 3'' body lift, and new back shocks.

Can I use my stock rims if I buy 33/10.5/15 tires?

Yeah they are 33/12.5/15. They come on 6 Bolt Chevy Rally wheels and I think my 4runner takes 6 bolt so would that work? If not what would I have to do so they would fit, buy new wheels?
