Just did mine tonight. Was quick and easy and on a 97 with 235k I think it was original. Glad I changed it, the fuel that poured out of the filter was horrible looking.

Not wanting extra height, maybe just slightly more heavy duty springs in rear. Would like to avoid sag primarily. Can anyone suggest something that can help me out? Thank you.

About to got 235k and going to give it a fresh stage zero. Tb/wp Radiator/t stat/cap Socks struts Plugs/wires/boots Fluids Brake mc I'm sure I'm missing something....

Update, after resetting EFI and another 25 miles the idle has returned to normal. Thanks errbody for all the help.

Things done so far... Reset Pull EFI fuse 1hr Clean tb Clean iac Check for vac leak Scan for codes. There was 0100 0110 0120 I cleared them they're gone now, think it was from when I cleaned parts drove it for about 25 mins After resetting EFI the idle went to around 1100 in park. I'm...

If no cel, and car is in good running shape you should be good to go.

Bought my 97 sr5 2wd and it had a slightly low idle Figured I'd clean iac... While in there I found the solenoid still plugged in but removed from valve zip tied out of the way. Cleaned everything up, tb and iac (separated them and cleaned) and the idle is at 1300ish in park. About 800...
