Yeah I was told there will be some noise because lifted at 2wd but it just seems louder than usual so that’s why I’m thinking it’s not because of the angle. I could be wrong though still could be angle

Similar to rear wheel bearing noise but wouldn’t it make noise always and not just when letting off gas? Or lightly pressing gas? Both highway speeds.

I did consider the angle I was told 2wd will make some noise when lifted because it doesn’t have the double joint driveshaft like the 4wd it just seems excessively loud for it to be just that.

I did that I’ve tried to isolate it but the hollow driveshaft sounds like it’s coming at the driveshaft but I know it’s not the sound is traveling. There’s noise in rear diff and near output shaft on trans. Hard to say but it does sound like rear diff. I’m trying to find a used one and go with...
