    Steering problems. Need some advice

Has anybody tried a rebuilt rack from ECGS (East Coast Gear Supply)? They're 400 bucks and I'd be willing to pay that to fix my problems once and for all. I know some rebuilt racks aren't trustworthy, but, if it's coming from this company, I have more trust in it.

What is the T4R of the car world?

Subaru FTW. Impreza, Legacy, Outback. All are good, reliable choices. Not to mention fun. Have a 2004 WRX STi for fun weekend car and love it in all conditions. Wouldn't spring for one for the wife though. haha ;):

    Rear shock mounts shaking..

That just proves I need to make a trip for some nicer tools. haha How's the driver's side go? Move stuff out the way? Or there's a way to reach it? Sorry if these are noobish questions. Gotta gain this knowledge one way or another.

    Rear shock mounts shaking..

Well, since the nut is down so far in there, a box wrench, or any type of wrench for that matter, will not sit flush enough for my comfort. I've exhausted the last bit a patience I had left for the night. I'm either getting some washers tomorrow and attempting that way, or its going to my local...

    Rear shock mounts shaking..

Well bushings might be hard to find, but that's definitely the best idea I've seen as a solution. What about washers (as stated above), but using one locking washer and then a few more regular washers on top of that (1-3)? That seems plausible. I also share your idea of dismounting from the...

    Rear shock mounts shaking..

Well, after attempting. And much research. This top nut is a b***h. Now, I understand there are tons upon tons of threads regarding this. However, my situation seems a bit different. First off, the shocks are Bilstein 5125. The top nut is 24mm. Since these were recently installed, it's no...

    Rear shock mounts shaking..

Hey guys, Having a bad issue with my rear shock mounts. The top u-joints are very loose and wobbly. I would tighten the top bolt, but it seems to be welded (shown in photo below). Does anyone have any tips on how to proceed? Haven't seen anything in my searches.

    Toytec 3" Lift selection

Noted. Thanks for your reply. Should I not go with the 891's and 5150's?

    Toytec 3" Lift selection

^^ why would you suggest the 600# over the 650#? I plan on ordering this kit with 650# silver coils, ome 891 in rear, and bilstien 5150 in rear. This seems best for my needs (heavy front bumper, towing, hauling, wheeling, etc.) Would that not be ideal?

Toytec ultimate 3" front adjustable lift, any tips, tricks or hints?

Im about to order this suspension to replace the one that came on my vehicle when I purchased it. It's sagging and pretty much shot. How will I know if I've cranked to 3" if I don't have a stock base to work from?
