    The LFD Off Road Thread

I've not been able to post pics on this forum without them all being upside down! They do tuck up really nicely. If you PM me your mobile # I can text some pics.

I've had the .120 angled no plate sliders since March or April. They are awesome.. Mine came raw and I primed and rattle canned. Better that way for future touch up

    Fridge/Freezer - Convince Me

Are you able to open these smaller fridges in the cargo area, without pulling out on a slide?

    New Falken AT tire (A/T3W)

I recently put the Falkens on my new 4runner. I stayed with 265/70/17s and am running TRD wheels and 5100s all around with the front set to 1.75". I got rubbing in full lock reverse and did the fender liner mod. Still have some rubbing on one side and need to go a little further.. Love the...

Water Tanks in Cargo Storage Systems ? // Frontrunner Water Tanks

I've got a bunch of scepter cans and have been thinking about a spout/pump to put one in the 4runner for on-board water. This seems like a good solution and the pumps are on amazon: Scepter Water Can Hand Pump Conversion | Danger Ranger Bear

1up Bike Rack Fit on 5th Gens

I've got a heavy duty double with an add-on tray (which makes for a heavy rack). I found that when I moved it to the 4runner (from an Ecohitch on a forester) the hitch didn't insert as securely/far in the receiver tube with the spare tire in the way. What I do to make sure it's tight on the...

    The LFD Off Road Thread

Thanks for the offer. It's a fairly long box and had to push it forwards to clear the lift gate while open. The clamps only move/adjust so far fore/aft so I'll run it with the bolts (I'll drill holes wherever works best) and fairing on the front bar. Hoping to pick up a fairing and wide skid...

    The LFD Off Road Thread

I realized after futzing with the box and bike tray setup over the weekend that the best way to fix is add the standard wind fairing and use some carriage bolts and threaded knobs (on the inside) to mount the yakima box. I'd be curious if anyone has already gone this route? The yakima clamps...

    The LFD Off Road Thread

Thanks for the reply. I've got a question in to your guys to see if I can get the one piece crossbar fairing (like comes with the racks). If I get another crossbar + the separate fairing it sticks up a hair when mounted and isn't level with the other bars..hoping this is an option. It looks...

    The LFD Off Road Thread

I just installed a couple of the steel crossbars and notice a decent howl around 40mph. I plan to have a bike tray on them most of the time and also a yakima skybox periodically but am wondering if there is any way to reduce the noise when unloaded? I would need to add a third crossbar to...

Anybody from Charlotte, NC on here?

I'm in Matthews and just picked up an sr5. Also curious if anyone has recs for a shop to do a lift around Charlotte area? I used to wheel Uwharrie a bit back in the day in a tacoma. Plan to hit it when it reopens for the season in April. Also plan to hit Brown Mtn OHV in April, which I'm...
