275/70r17 BFG AT TA/KO with no lift?

The bfg a/t has an aggressive sidewall and really knobby on the corners. You will not get the same results as the guy with the much more street tireish gy sas. With that said my bfg at 265/70-17 did not rub at all but they do for most.

Is a Power Steering Flush necessary???

If the fluid was the wrong color then I'd say you made the right choice since it was probably contaminated by something.

    Help! V8 2005 Vs 2006

As long as both vehicles are mechanically and cosmetically sound get whichever one catches your eye more. Theres so many options that for the most part every 4th gen out there looks different. I personally am not a fan of ones without the spoiler and non color keyed mirrors, roof rack, steps...

Finally, Toyota platinum warranty for 08' put in good use

My point is if you have a major failure like the engine then ya you came out on top. Brakes are simple things that any man should be able to handle. Not trying to piss on your parade but warranty companies aren't in the business to lose money. Maybe I'm just still upset from having to do an...

Finally, Toyota platinum warranty for 08' put in good use

Sweet. The front brake caliper is about $125 for reman. $20 in brake fluid. Prob $30 for some sway bar bushings. So your doing good. Only about -$1600.

    New 2003 4runner

I would go with the factory ngk iridium's Mobile 1 synthetic motor oil Toyota atf or amsoil synthetic atf Mobile 1 synthetic diff fluid (I think its 75 90) Valvoline synthetic dot 3 & 4 brake fluid IMO NAPA has best pads and rotors.

LED For Temperature Control Unit NEEDED!

If you just want the original bulb which is not led try your local Toyota strealership. If you want to convert to led then search around or ask your question in the 3rd gen section. I've noticed not too many people venture into this part of the forum.

    Amp install

You definately can't use the stock amp wiring, I think its like 10g or 12g. It's definately high quality, just not thick enough for 2 aftermarket amps. A quality 4g kit will handle about 800watts. 2g-about 1500w. 0g for anything higher. 8g won't be enough with 2 amps. Also the factory...

Upgrading rotor size to the 338mm

The mounting bracket is part of the caliper so you would have to change out the entire calipers, rotors and the shield behind the rotors.

    Volant cold air intake system

PVC - Equivalent Length Friction Loss in Fittings So let's say the intake is 3" in diameter. That means each 90 turn is equivalent to 11ft of straight pipe, and to the best of my memory the factory intakes 90's were flexible pipe with large ribs which would create even more drag.

285/70-17 bfg ta ko w/ 50% tread on stock suspension?

I have a chance to pick up this used set for pretty cheap. I've been running 265/70-17 bfg tau ko for 60k miles and they need to be replaced. They only rubbed at full lock in reverse. Will I have issues with the 285's even though they have only 50% tread?
