Actually, the driver's side has both. I can move it in a circle and in and out of the diff slightly. Passenger side is radial only for now and isn't as bad. Wheel side is fine on both. You raise a good point about the seals potentially failing due to this. Might hafta check them out. I hate...

I wanted to post an update to this thread, as I completed the work this afternoon. I purchased Moog ball joints and bought a spare set of UCA's from another gracious member. I had a local machine shop swap the new ball joints in so I could replace the UCA's as an assembly to save me time...
