Starter issue? Perhaps your thread can tell me. I turn the ignition key, and get a loud metal on metal grind. Just a quick bump, cuz the sound is a bit scary. I think the starter may be engaged, and that is what I'm hearing. If that's the case, is a new starter the answer, or is something else...

Bad starter? I turn the ignition and get one solid grinding noise, like the Bendix is stuck. It doesn't fire, cuz I back off the key from the noise i hear. Not sure I 8f I replaced the starter last year, or not...it's all a blur, man! Anyone?
