I have heard that the fitment is poor. you also have to by the inserts as far as the ones on ebay that will paint it for you its still hard to match to your paint do to ware and tare on your vehicle sun exposure and what not. this is something a experienced painter can match.

you should just buy a good used axle for much much less than that. search craigs list also check out yotateh.com they have a great classified section. I have seen 4runner rear ends with the locking diff for sale for 700. easy swap. dealers have to deal with overhead that adds alot to the cost...
