I kept re-reading everyone's input and the day before I figured it out I remembered what you had suggested. The light did NOT stay on. I looked for everything. I waited and waited but as I held the key forward without cranking it all lights went off.... as I cranked it and then stopped...

Interesting thing though is that the remote worked to lock and unlock the vehicle. It just wouldn't start it. I'm going to put this together as a presentation and have Toyota pay me for it.

I've used both keys turned both directions (up/down). The one that seems to work most often is the one I had as a spare. I've had both keys fail many times. Good thought! I'll keep my phone away from everything the next time I try.

We ordered a fuel pump but it has yet to be installed yet. We will be checking EVERY wire and connection for certain.

A scantool read during attempted start/crank the revs were low. One relay under the hood "clicked" each time I turned the key to position #2. The fuel pump didn't always sound like it "primed"? Thanks for the ideas.

Is there more than one fuel filter on this or is it built in with the pump inside the tank?

GREAT THOUGHT!!! That could be why having the fuel slosh around (tow and me shaking the truck) kinda cleared it to allow fuel to get through.
