    Front Window Tint

https://www.carthrottle.com/user/wgqde9e/ Need to add more pictures to the garage though :/ Stoptech makes a BB package for these 16s, in fact that is who makes the TRD big brake kit. It is a TRD option on the FJ's. You probably don't want to buy another brake package though, they are damn...

    Front Window Tint

15% here, matched by a shop. I don't think you can rely on all of our tint being the same opacity, there for a magic number is impossible. They are all slightly different. Take it to a shop, ask them to match it and be done.

    Interior Rattles After 100k Miles?

Likely the rods which can be fixed with a rubber grommet, or even more likely.. a loose roof rack bar. They can be tightened with a torx driver.

Loud bang when going over bumps

Haha! Thats actually a great thought, but the exhaust is solid. I was pressure washing the undercarriage recently and decided to check the pipes and muffler underneath. The bang is pretty big, almost like a boom. It's something heavy hitting something solid would be my thoughts - just don't know...

Loud bang when going over bumps

The end links look good. They are tight and the bushing aren't cracked. May have to spring for some 5100s. Still, I don't know what the bang is coming from.. The best I can describe it is it sounds like it is bottoming out, but the impact feels normal - like going over a speed bump in a pickup...

Loud bang when going over bumps

You are correct sir. Stock shocks as far as I can tell, I am the 2nd owner and bought it last year. They may have been replaced with factory shocks but there is no paper work. The coils are the 2" superflex coils from Toytech. It still handles great on and off the road, no floating. Maybe they...

Loud bang when going over bumps

2" coil in the rear on stock shock - but the loud thump/bang was there prior to the coil upgrade. No xreas.

Found a use for that useless spot under the climate controls

Looks great! I did something similar with the useless sunglasses holder up above, I mounted a dock for my cell phone in it. Lots of room to get custom in these 4th gens. Love em.

Loud bang when going over bumps

The shocks were inspected during the install of the rear coils, they were in good shape. It sounds like I am missing bump stops or something (bump stops are there) , or the shocks are bottoming out. I'll tap around with a mallet and see what I can find.

Loud bang when going over bumps

Hello! I have an 03 V8 runner with a toytec 3/2 spacer and coil lift. When going over speed bumps in a parking lot at slow speeds (5 mph ish - not slowing down for the bump), there is a loud bang when the rear axle goes over the bump. The front does not do this, it absorbs the drop just fine...

After market audio help (JL W7)

    1. Is the amp 1000W max, or RMS 2. W7 is amazing, I have a 10" DVC 4Ohm variant - it sounds amazingly clean. 3. The factory alternator will provide enough current to keep a 1kw amp performing solidly. Use a 1 farad cap to keep some of the abuse away from your alternator. 4. You can use the...

    Electrical Wiring Problem

Test your battery with a volt meter, make sure it is floating above 12.3v (should always be near this when the vehicle is off) if it is nearing 11.Xv then you have something drawing power (maybe your taped up 12v wire is touching ground someplace (could be pinched somewhere?) As far as fuses...

    Quick Stereo Install Question

A dimmer wire coming from the factory side of your harness has nothing to do with powering the display of the head unit, it's soul purpose is to provide a variable signal to the head unit to tell it when it should be Bright or Dim. If your head unit has a detachable face plate you might try...
