I have a skid plate off my old 97 i just traded in. No need for it anymore. I painted flat black along with all the bolts.

Installed new Moog rear coils. No more saggy booty. Felt really harsh when driving it daily. Now time to save up for the fronts.

sway bar aka stabilizer bar and the pan hard bar your referring to would be the lateral rod on our 4runners ?

Thanks downpour 11 I have the Haynes manual here but it states many things to take off. Are there any specific lift spots on our 'runners or do I just have to find a nice solid, flat surface to lift from? Anyway, these coil springs are going in today...enough said. lol

I have been running Walmart Maxx batteries in all my vehicles the last 8 years with very minor problems. The only problem I have had was at a 24/7 Walmart store I had to wait until 7am for automotive department to open.

New Coils I have replaced bump stops a few years ago and also added some Rancho 5000 rear shocks. Now i'm getting this bouncy issue in the rear when driving on bumpy roads. I'm sure its the rear coils, so i have ordered some MOOG rear coil springs (part # 81043). I own a 1997 Toyota 4Runner...

Are you having/experiencing any other issues with your transmission ?

97 4runner 2wd 3.4L auto 203,000 had it over 3 yrs 2nd owner bought with "going out" tranny new trans w/ cooler everything else...untouched. :-)

Were the 890's a direct fit to stock gear on 3rd Gen's ? Would you happen to know how much lift if any is giving when installing these coils ?
