How long ago was that? On pirate they were talking about how it's open as of Aug of this year, and they're not the type to endorse wheeling on closed trails...that's cool the deputy was into 4x4's, we need more LEO's on our side!

IIRC, he is (was?) Running unimog axles on his 4runner, hence "4mogger". Portal hubs, ctis, adjustable air suspension, was a pretty sweet ride from what I remember on his yotatech build thread

Thanks for the info hounddogman, I appreciate the real world numbers. It looks like your numbers are about 300 rpm higher than the calculator says it "should" be...that could be a game changer for me, I like the sound of your numbers.

Yeah if i drove that fast I'm sure I'd be right there with you. I'd say 75% of my driving is under 60mph, unless I get a job where I have to commute before the regear, I'm gunna gear it to the speeds I drive, obviously ymmv... What's your rpms like at 80?
