Broken Arrow Trail in Sedona Hit the trail with my boy and the father-in-law while we were traveling in Arizona.

Turned out to be a seized driver caliper. Still waiting to get up to highway speeds, but feels much better already. Thanks again man, I was overcomplicating the issue.

I actually took them off to clear the tires. I was planning on cutting them up and reinstalling, but I ended up really liking the look without them.

Finished up my 231 Tundra big brake revival. Had some terrible shaking during high speed braking that shook the entire car. Pretty scary, but found that the Autozone remanufactured caliper had seized against the rotor.

I know that the calipers were from Autozone. I think the pads and rotors are toyota OEM, but seeing as it has been about 5 years I just cannot remember. I did remember that I blew a cv boot around the time the brakes started acting up. Maybe the pads got contaminated, but would that cause...

So I just finished my upgrade with Autozone Calipers. A warning to all... check to make sure that the piston boots have the cir clips installed. One of my calipers had 3 installed and the other had none installed. I scavenged them off of the old calipers before installing. Just glad I noticed...

Has anyone done this upgrade on a 2002 with stock "flower" wheels? If so, do the stock wheels clear the upgrade? I am about to order the parts, and I just wanted to double check. ****Found out from another site that they will fit with no issues.****
