When you had the glove box out, did you notice whether it was easy or doable to just replace the front door? How is it held in place with overall box unit that you have removed, for example?

I squirted enough silicone lubricant in there to ease an elephant orgy and my tabs still don't work. Anyone have any other bright ideas for getting the glove box lid to stop flopping out? Looks like the lid itself runs about $260. Too costly to replace, and it's not clear to me how one even...

Here I am almost a year later and I have STILL not found a solution. This janky thing either stays open or opens on each bump and hits the passenger. I can't believe it costs $600 for a new glove box assembly just because a $1 part is broken inside the lid door. Please someone save me.

I've been having the same problem off and on for the last few winters. Now the darn glove box just lays open and refuses to close. Any solutions beside replacing the whole front panel at a shocking cost?

FWIW, I kept the high beam swaps but had to revert my low beams back to regular low beams. I kept getting flashed on most roads, especially rural roads, but even in cities. It got really old and I could tell I was blinding people so I removed them. Didn't want to get shot in Redneck, AZ.

I have a 2010 4runner with the crappy XM reception that started about 2 years ago. I'm thinking something electronic in there probably iodized or got corroded. I found this 10-11 Camry XM antenna on ebay but it doesn't have a picture of any of it so I can't tell whether this will work or not.

Has anyone found their replacement headlamps less prone to the hazing? Are they indeed *better*? Did they fix the problem? Or do you just start over and get hazing again...?
