Just figured I’d get a second opinion from a thread specifically catering to 4th gens. I know you’re not trying to come across as a dick, but maybe refrain from replying next time if you don’t have anything constructive to offer.

Any advice for installing a new strut setup.....maybe as to what I need to disconnect and/or torque specs of each component? It's a Bilstein 4600 shock w/ OME springs and a 2.5 inch lift spacer.

Goodness either your rear suspension is shot or the photo was taken at a weird angle.... would be surprised if the rear shocks didn't blow on stock bump stops. I don't have DAC on my SR5 but my VSC and ABS will beep loudly if I get into sticky situations or if I loose too much traction.

I mean, i'm only running 32s at this point and no beadlocks, so the lowest i ever dare to go on the Falkens is around 24 PSI on the trails. That being said, I DON'T do any rock crawling at this point since I'm only on 4600s and 1.5" of lift; I can't afford a fully fledged build at this point...

On the road it's fine for the most part...minor bumps and divots sometimes cause the steering wheel to do a little shimmy but its not uncontrollable. Speed tables also cause the steering wheel to turn one way or another. /it just feels way too loose. Off-road its gotten so bad that even gravel...

Yeah I probably will....the front sags a little though....rear has about an inch more lift than the front so I’m kinda drawn towards the height adjustable 5100s too.

They ride nicely, it’s just a matter of how much weight the truck is carrying. Softer shocks tend to handle better under a heavier load. I agree though; Tacoma Bilsteins and 4Runner bilsteins are virtually the same other than having to retrofit the former.
