I've posted twice in 5 years since getting my 4Runner but visit the site from time to time. With the exception of both rear wheel bearings needing replacement, it's been great with currently only 117,000 miles, and I intend to keep it as long as it doesn't provide...
Nice write-up...Looks nice with the silver color of the truck! I'm considering this as well though mine wouldn't really have a good contrast. Seems pretty straightforward.
I'm new the 4Runner, but I've done this on my Maxima. The hub contains the bearings which need to be pressed out and in. If you don't have a press, then you can take the hubs out and the new bearings to a shop and have it done for cheaper than taking your whole car in. Should cost maybe $60...
