Update: my bro took off the positive lead to the battery, then we took off the gas cap, put it back on tightly and then hooked the battery lead back on... Lights are off. I'm more convinced of a bad gas cap... Ordering a factory one ASAP. The lights give me anxiety. Lol.

You are right. Unfortunately, I don't know much about my car or the battery for that matter. Timing was also an issue... I couldn't leave it charging for 24 hours unfortunately. Instead of worrying about it, I just purchased a new battery. At least I know now :boxing:
