If I still wanted reliability, for around $55 or $60K, a blinged-out Sequoia might fit the bill.

That's a truck to be proud of for another 100K. I liked my first 2002 runner the best. It got 17-19 mpg, had just the wheel well trim like yours and not the flares, and a Toyota tube bumper. At 245K miles with a need to pull the fuel tank for the emissions thing, and the AC compresser gone...
