I have owned 2 Tacomas and I'm on my 2nd 4Runner.....I love both. It depends what your needs are. The best of both worlds would be to own both. Currently, I am down to 1 4Runner after owning a 2008 Tacoma for 3 years. I loved my Tacoma and waiting until the 2015 models come out before I buy...

Wow!----glad you are okay man! I had a 2007 SR5 4WD 4Runner that saved our lives as well. The best vehicle. Replaced with a 5th gen...2014. Loving it and will continue to stay with it!

2007 4Runner went 84,000 miles before someone ran the red and totalled it. Brakes checked at 77,000 miles and still had 65% left. Depends on what kind of driving you do....but Toyota's are built to last!

At first glance, not a big fan. However, the 2014 has grown to be a big boy. Agree, wimpy stock tires/wheels for the SR5 and Trail----that can be rectified for a few dollars. The stance is tough and the front is solid. Interior is great with the exception of the dash. Entune is awesome...
