I frequent I-95 in Florida a lot. Too much debris. I ran over an aluminum light pole that had fallen over or was knocked down, at night doing 70 miles an hour a couple years ago. The other day there was a ladder in the fast lane. Too risky even on pavement.

That's impressive. I would say lack of experience in the rocks (myself included) and poor spotting, may be the reason for a lot of the failures over the years. That and the Tacoma guys finding out their stock rack can't handle Prerunner jumps and whoops at 70 mph.

You may have planned on this, but, the Cooling system might be suspect now that you've had stop leak in there for awhile. Thermostat, WP, water passages, and radiator could have restrictions built up. EDIT: Toyota has a Summer parts sale going on in case you run into any problems.
