Coolant in cylinders? Borescope Pics. Please help

Ok good to hear that it is not getting into the cylinders. so no head gasket leak or cracked head. Thanks for the help. I've already filled and marked my coolant and noted the temp/time on it. I also did a block test with the rad.. and it came back negative also.

Coolant in cylinders? Borescope Pics. Please help

I've got the classic white smoke at start up however I had a shop replace my heads with brand new heads less than 3 years ago. Same shop is saying it might be the intake manifold leaking coolant and getting burned up there.. not from the head gasket or heads... Pressurized system. I pulled my...

    Normal coolant temps

get a wireless OBD2 reader (or bluetooth) and an app on your phone to monitor it. Best option is Torque pro but it is only for Android. that is how I monitor my trans and coolant when I'm doing anything beyond normal daily driving. Much cheaper than a scangauge. I think I paid 20 bucks for the...

    3.5" DuroBumps with LC shocks?

I ran with no sway bar for years because of this and to have maximum down travel. I've been doing alot more road driving so put the sway bar back on and used the 3rd gen front links. they are slightly shorter. I've not had any problems with them. still flexes really good. I put the 2nd gens on...

    3.5" DuroBumps with LC shocks?

The 2nd gen links are super common for us 3rd gen guys with lifted rigs. I notice damage/scraping on my lower control arms after I changed them out to the Rokmen ones... and they were really close to them. I think less than an inch I doubt the Kings are the issue. Here is that pic of the...

    3.5" DuroBumps with LC shocks?

Are you running longer sway bar end links? I had an issue where I was running the 2nd gen links and they were making contact with my rear lower control arms. that was giving me harsh clunk. Yeah I guess could be the shocks if they are old.. something internal? IDK much about that.

    3.5" DuroBumps with LC shocks?

Interesting I've had the exact opposite experience. I felt that they help smooth out the suspension cycle. Either way I'd assume that the 3.5's are not long enough as they will compress as the longer ones do and will allow the shock to bottom out. They will slow the suspension compression down...

    3.5" DuroBumps with LC shocks?

They are intended to come into contact before a normal bumpstop. they are progressive so the first part of contact compresses easier and then gets firmer as they compress. Sounds like they are working as they are supposed to. I think a lot of people thing they are preventing the suspension...

    The 3.4L TRD Supercharger Thread

Yep that’s it. Did all those. Just added more timing retard and she pulls good at 2000-2500 under 3-4 lbs boost. It’s nice. However when I made the change my AFRs are now back to 14.7 in closed loop where as the base map I got from URD they were down to 13.5. Not sure if that’s bad to be...
