I had a similar thing happen when I unplugged the Bcm(?) the one on the pass side kick panel. When it was unplugged my lights lit up and the speedometer stopped functioning.

It's like putting lipstick on a pig with that many miles and condition. I don't get it. YMMV

Dude please stop, seriously, please explain how being hit high in the rear caused frame damage. I have 2 prior salvage 4Runners that have less damage than that. One was a mirror and door glass. 96 with 94k and all maintenance done at the dealer with records.
