My 2015 SR5 4 x 4 is doing the same thing. I just posted about it earlier this week.

When I turn the Steering wheel to near full lock while driving then start tuning it back I get a “popping” sound/feel coming from the front end. It only does it one time until I turn steering wheel again that far. It also happens turning both ways. It seems to be coming from the drivers side...
Due to where the valve stem is located in the wheel the angle of the factory tpms sensors wont allow it to seat in the valve stem hole. The plastic part of the sensor contacts the wheel.
I am looking for some aftermarket TPMS Sensors. I am running Fuel Maverick 18 x 9's and the factory sensors will not work in them due to the valve stem location. What aftermarket sensors are folks running that will communicate with the Toyota system properly. I wish i would have done more...
Thanks everyone for the help. I think i am just going to cut my loses on these wheels and order a set of FN fx pro's for the rig. I talked to Dustin today. What a stand up guy he is. I realize i can just go the ET lug route and keep running these but my TPMS sensors still wont fit in the...
This is my first set of Fuel wheels and my last. I am just thankful someone pointed out the lug nut / stud issue. I just always assumed they were ok. I never thought to take the big ugly center cap off that covers all of them and look. Pretty Busch league to make a "Universal" wheel IMO.
Haven't contacted Fuel yet. I am going to tomorrow. Looks like the easiest thing to do is use the ET style lug nuts. To be honest I have never been happy with these wheels anyway. The factory tpms sensor doesn't fit in them and I have had a hard time keeping them balanced. As much as I don't...
I realize I can put longer studs in but there has to be an easier option. There is no way everyone running Fuel wheels is changing Studs. I feel like there is a different lug nut that will take care of this.
Yea changing to longer studs is probably cheaper than changing wheels but it can get up there. Pressing out, pressing in, disassembly and reassembly. I have put longer studs on a mustang for track use and it is pretty involved. I am hoping that there is an easy fix with some different lug...
So I went to the tire shop to get a rebalance. Manager came to me and said they would not work on it due to lugnuts not having enough thread engagement on the studs due to liability. Said it was very unsafe. Have any of you run into this with aftermarket wheels. They have been on the vehicle...
