I am going to check out a 2001 4runner with 115k. SR5 4WD with leather seats. Looks like it's in very good shape and the guy wants around $4500 for it.

Timing and water pump was done at 95k. Seems strange for me to buy a car with so many miles.... thoughts?
If it's fraud - easy call. If it's not - then why should I be concerned that the car wasn't used much if any?
Also, he is asking about 1000-1500 more than other 4runners I have seen that had 100-115k on them so if this is legitimate - aren't I better off paying another 1-1.5k to to get a car...
It's a 2002 limited with 22k miles. The guy is one of those curb side dealers. They are quite prevalent where I am. He needs to send me the vin and I'll run the carfax but if it doesn't show up as fraud - what else can I check to see if it's legitimate?
