I'm going to school at Milligan College in TN and there is a great used parts place called Tri-Cities Auto Parts right across the street from the bristol motor speedway. The place has a t-case (that is for the 3.0 5speed) with 77k for $250. All their parts are tested and cleared before stocked...

That doesn't sound too awful. The only part that I would have to figure out is where the 4wd light is and how to remove the shifter. Not sure how to do either.

I have a 1989 sr5 3vze 5 speed. It would be cheaper for me to replace than rebuild, got a great deal on a used case. I just need to know what needs to be done to remove the old case and install the new. Difficulty level? I will be doing this myself in my garage. Thanks!

Mine is IFS. And yes I now there's more than toe, but that is the only thing that needs adjusted right now.

Ok guys so I broke a tie rod end and had to replace it. Problem was that I just had an alignment, and I'm not in the mood to spend the money when the only thing that needs to be adjusted is the toe. Here are the correct numbers. But where do I measure from? Which number correlates to what...

As far as performance, gotta be my aussie locker in the rear. But hands down my favorite mod has got to be my SOFT TOP! Soft tops are the greatest things ever invented for the 1st gen 4runners, but you don't really have that option with a '93 of course. I would also like some tube doors too...

Well thanks for the comments guys I really appreciate it! Yea my truck is very dear to me. I've spent endless blood sweat and tears on the pumpkin and my build thread shows about 1% of it all!
