I can't speak to the GX470's, but GX460's all have KDSS, while some have rear air suspension (higher trim models).
Rear locking differentials was not a factory option for the US market, but was/are available on the the 150 Prado's overseas.

I am in the process of changing burned out bulbs (gear indicator next to shifter, hvac, and other interior lights).
I don't recall whether or not the 2nd gen has a gear indicator embedded in the dash. Can anyone speak to that?
Thanks!
All,
I will be relocating to Boston for the next few years.
Are there any shops that you could recommend bringing my cherished 2nd gen to, for service?
Thanks!
Tomorrow maybe around noon.
Just myself. I've ever been out wheeling before, so I will need to pick up some recovery gear (shovel, straps, bags of gravel lol).
I picked up the truck this morning. The new steering relay rod looks pretty good.
They didn't align the truck because the rear trailing arm and an idler arm are bent (They wanted $950 to repair that). Ill probably bring it to my guy some time down the line. All in all I'm happy.
Took it to...
Dropped it off last night and they called me today.
One of my idler arms and a rear trailing arm are bent. They wanted $950 to replace. I asked them to just complete whatever is covered under the recall (steering relay rod and front alignment).
Picking it up tomorrow morning. Let's see how...
