How has your LKQ engine been so far? How many miles you put on it so far? I'm probably going to go this route for the warranty. I had my truck for less than 24 hours and the radiator failed and have to probably have to replace the whole engine.

So I'm a total noob to 4runners and off roading in general. I just moved to the Central Coast and am looking for a 3rd or 4th gen truck. Can anyone offer info on what conditions require 4WD? Would a 2WD base get me through light trail driving or the dunes?
