hmmm...interesting thread - all this winter I thot it was the studs. seemed to come from the passenger side, felt it in the steering/brake [very subtle though] when gently applying brake pressure...but gone as soon as I apply more brake pressure....till I start moving again. frustrating cuz no...

yeah I started noticing that a few months back. mine's more like a plastic/cardboard buckling feeling when I lean into it. It keeps the pressure but still a bit annoying.

we test drove both. The pilot was fine but lacked any appeal - it was basic...and a bit 'boxy'. We'd also read reviews that pointed to a higher interior level from road/wind noise. Toyota won. :thumb3:

yup. 10k for salsa red. indirectly it was open road, but I went thru a broker. When we bought [spring - summer 2010] there was such a backlog that none of the dealers were budging (sp?) on the 5.9% financing...I talked to a US guy working/commuting from seattle to here who had the 2010 LE...

yeah, we debated the color between the salsa and the mag grey. The broker talked us out of the salsa cuz if we went ahead with it Toyota would have requested 10k down??? Mag Grey it was...but now it seems to be the only color I see around! hmmm.

My trail has it too, on the inside...noticed it a month back after seeing this post. I just noticed tonite that the foglamps are developing a haze too...anyone else use the fogs and seeing this? The fogs are glass, not plastic like the headlamps, and the haze is on the inside - any theories?

Hamilton: thanks - pix of the Nitto's at 265 would be great. Toyota said No to trade in on tires - no suprise there.

4RBob - Thanks for correction - i was past due for sleep - Thanks for all the advice - got some decisions to make. I may opt for a cheaper set of winters then splurge on some kind of beefier AT's. I saw a pick up last month that had the Nitto Grapplers - they looked awesome but I wasn't sure...
