just passed 100K this summer. The oil was pretty greyish and cloudy in both front and rear.

I use a 10mm hex bit and it seems to be a solid fit. curious what the toyota special tool is.

I went to change the diff fluids last wknd. The rear went fine but the front drain plug wouldn't budge. Heated that thing up and it still wouldn't move for me. The hex plug started to get boogered so I stopped. Found some solutions online and bought an extractor set and the lexus drain plug...

yes. stage 2 icon lift. My old fj was the same way. did the bmc and was good after that.

that's exactly how my 285's look as well. i will eventually do a bmc.
