I had the exact same issue on my right rear caliper of my 06 4runner I thought for sure it was a problem with the hose or master cylinder but it ended up being the cardone ultra rebuilt caliper it was just junk ,My guess it would be a caliper

I did it from underneath with a craftsman 1/2 breaker bar and a 12 point socket had just enough room to break them loose a little

I was able to break them loose from under the vehicle with a 1/2 breaker bar 14mm I think, just to get them started, they were tight but no rust and i am in buffalo ny.

Broke mine trying to remove them. Got the ebay pair and they have been in for almost a year work great no problems. clean the bores and put dielectric grease on the connection and in the bore.This will make it possible to remove them in the future.
