On my 88 the 4 large hoses coming off of/from below the manifold that are under the brake booster vacuum line are for the AC and power steering idle bumps.

So many pages... Only minivan taxis around me.

266,860 miles on mine, only ever been opened down to the valve cover gaskets. yeah it leaks ever fluid you put in it and the valve make a real nasty tick, but she gets me where I need to go with adequate power (thank you r150f!). I love my 3vze, just wish it was better supported.

no need to remove the intake plenum. Get a swivel attachment for your socket set and get it done that way. Also, have a magnet in hand for installation of the rear-most passenger side plug. But if you pull the plenum, leave the throttle body on the truck and unbolt it from the plenum. You will...

Not sure about the 95 3vzes, but my 88's fast idle valve is 100% internal to the throttle body. Im pretty sure it is the same for yours, though I could be wrong. (I know my idle controls, been fighting mine for nearly 2 years)
