Thanks for your response. How long do you think that it would it take for a novice to complete? Could it be accomplished over a weekend? Do you know if anyone has documented how to do it? Would it be wiser for me to look for a hatch from a '98?
The first pic is of the plugs that are on the old 1996 tailgate and the second pic is the plugs that are from the donor 1999 tailgate that were behind the headliner and cut off when it was removed from the vehicle.
