5th Gen custom bump stops. need some input

Have all the pre-ordered sets shipped out? I haven’t received an email or a parcel so just wanted to check.

5th Gen custom bump stops. need some input

Ordered. My 2010 is still running stock suspension so it’s due for a refresh. These seem like a great complimentary product to go with new shocks and springs.

Motive Products Brake Bleeder on 5th Gen

Strangely enough, I just got around to bleeding the brakes last week! The process went smoothly except when I snapped off one of the front bleeders (totally my fault). The Speed Bleeders made it a very simple one man job. Follow the instructions in the FSM (below) and you shouldn't have any trouble.

    Webasto Heater

There are a lot of well-documented installs on the Sprinter Source forum and on YouTube ( https://youtu.be/urSoTDy-pnc is a good one). Sprinters are a pretty easy vehicle to install as they are designed with these types of heaters in mind. I installed mine over the course of a week and could do...

    Webasto Heater

Do you want the entire vehicle (engine and cabin) heated or are you fine with just the cabin being warm? I think you’d be better off with an air heater rather than the coolant heater in the video. The coolant heater uses more energy (fuel & electricity) whereas the air heater uses less as it...

    Attn: Scanguage II Owners!

That's pretty neat! ScanGauge is there a Canadian address where we can get this done north of the border? I've worked with the guys at Gifford's Automotive in Ottawa before but I'm wondering if this is more of a beta thing they don't have access to.

    Project - Rear onboard air

OP, nice looking mounting bracket! Where do you have yours? On my Land Cruiser I just drilled a hole in the OEM bumper and used a bulkhead fitting. I haven't figured out where to put on with the OEM 4Runner plastics.

    Please end this for me.

This is the rear axle we're talking about, not the engine or transmission oil pan.

center of hub to top of fender measurements

My 2010 Trail with stock suspension and 25k miles on it was 19.25" in the front and 21.5" in the rear when I bought it a few years ago. I think the trail fender flares are the same design, just a different material on the 2010-13 models.

5th Gen 4Runner Lift Buyers Guide

You can run 285/70/17 without a lift (I do). Your rubbing is most likely either coming from the front fender liners or the mudflaps. There is a simple adjustment you can do to the fender liners to pull them forwards and away from the tires and you can use heat gun to warm and reshape the...

    5th Gen Performance Mods

1engineer & Lindenwood, I believe this is the article in question from LCOOL.org. I've copied it below for simplicity. I'm pretty sure it was originally a forum post that was copied and made into an article for their main webpage. There is no mention of a source for any of the info within but...

    Bad blower

From his post in that thread I gathered that he had bought an entire 100 series LC, not just the blower motor ;)

Seat Rail Mount Platform // Guaging Interest

I withdrew my name from this a little while back so please pass my spot on to the next one in line. The mounts look great, I do wish I was getting one.
