These are the 17" rims off of a Sport Edition and they bolted right up to my 97. No rubbing, no problems. And they look great in my opinion.

i sounds like you trashed the radiator support and probably the radiator/ ac condensor. Maybe the aprons too. Always have collision coverage on a vehicle worth more than 5k
