I think I can make that system work on mine by cutting the pipe down where the extra cat is. ( the long pipe ) From what I can tell from the picture.

Yeah you can see it's bottle necked down from the stock size. It's a bought replacement bolt on muffler. you could but I don't think it's worth it. More work that its worth. It's bottled down 2" from the flange. Then swelled back up at the flange, to bolt it up to the tail pipe

A little bit, but after looking at it. The previous owner put a new one on before I bought it and you can see it was a cheap muffler because of the smaller pipe in and out of it. Its smaller that the stock exhaust system. I'm sure its acting like a cork. Plus when I go up my hill going home...

I know they are but, you asked what to use to clean them first with. I'm saying to clean it before you sand them, use a chrome wheel cleaner, it's stronger. Then after sanding them, wipe it down with either one, to prep it for paint or primer. Has to have a oil/dirt free surface. Then you good...

Wheel cleaner for chrome. then after sanding, ready for paint, acid tone or lacquer thinner.

Do what I did and paint them and get a nice set of tires (if you need them)

Well with my baby boy crying, I didn't have time to tape. What I did was, sand the area that was getting paint. Then took some grease and did the area that wasn't getting painted. Wiped the rims down with acid tone and painted them. After they all dried, I wiped away the grease and cleaned the...
