Sorry to revive this post, but i have searched everywhere for the EGR rain guards for the 3rd gen 4runner. Does anyone happen to know where to buy them?

What do you think about those pre made shrink wraps with the wire connectors inside of the wrap itself? Would soldering them be more durable?

Yeah, so the ARB bumper i got is supposed to be for the tacoma, but a lot of people use them for the 3rd gen 4runners. So they arnt a direct plug in unfortunately. :shrug:

Wouldnt it be better to get it supercharged for more low end torque for towing?

You should definetly return them and buy the same ones from a reputable vendor or shop.

Try searching around on ebay, in the used oem section. Local pick and pull or auto recyclers are good options too.

I would definitely call a toyota dealership to double check the part numbers.
