Mine does this. I thought the guy behind me hit me....then I noticed there was nobody behind me. My dealer cannot even recreate it but it happens all the time in that moment between moving from brake to throttle. I am not convinced that it is not creating a future problem though.

Concur. Ran OME's on my 3rd gen and they were great. East Coast salt beat them up but it was cosmetic only. In Sunny Fla, you should be fine. Have a setup from Sonoran Steel on my current ride. Liking it very much but it is still early days for my 5th Gen experience.

I have these and they are quite nice. I have a set on my FJ that are a few years old now and a new set with the fancy new cover on my T4R. I made my own cap for the pair on the FJ from computer table plug. It fit perfectly. I used some black RTV to seal it and it has been fine.

I'd agree with the clogged/frozen drains. Best bet is to keep the snow off the roof. The sunroof is designed to pass water through the "seal" and down the drains. If the drains freeze closed, there is no where for the water to go. If you open the roof, you probably have a nice trough of...
