installed new radiator, at 181,717 miles today, changed oil, new air filter, went over a few other things. Getting ready to head to South Dakota, then off to Yellowstone. Any tips? Must see's? Any mild trails anyone suggest?
Finally put the new tranny pan that's ben sitting in the garage for the last few months. Drain plug was stripped when I purchased my 3rd gen. I had tapped the old drain hole for a larger thread, but feel better about having it fixed for good.
Recently super charged my 99 limited. ben struggling with the all mighty ping!! So thankful to have this forum as a resource. Im not dialed in yet, but wanted to reach out and thank you longtime members for posting great info. Appreciate all the knowledge I have gained from various threads.
Put my set of savage skids back on after having them off for a month or so! Had a leak from the banjo bolt that holds the power steering line to the pump.
Right on. Im up in the blaine, Fridley area. I tossed on a super charger/7th injector kit a couple months ago. Hoping to find someone local that has any tuning experience?
I used the factory hardware. Just thought it was a little strange that the flanges were thicker. Looked like on the transmission side, they were studs, not nuts n bolts. At least on mine they were. Either way, the new shaft got rid of my vibration at 65-70mph. Good luck enjoy the smooth ride.
I also got a new rear shaft for my 99 limited from the same place. Were the front and rear flange on your new shaft thicker then the oem? Leaving less threads for the nuts to grab.
