For those who don't believe, I did this as well and experienced the same results. I added a K&N box filter and instantly saw my average mpg go up from ~16 to ~18 no joke. You can feel the power gain as well. Not a ton, but definitely noticeable.

So I've found out why there aren't many sources on how to elevate the front breather ON '90 TO '95 TRUCKS; '80s 4Runners and pickups have enough space on top of the front diff to fit a 90* angle union fitting WHEREAS, on '90 to '95 4Runners and pickups, a regular union fitting is a tight fit...

Remember: Even if your wheels aren't turning, if your engine is turning then your tranny is turning. :thumb: That will only make a greater difference in speed between the input shaft and the reverse gear.

I'm thinking of putting my antenna up front in the engine bay as well. What length of coax cable are you guys running? Firestik offers their 18 feet of cable, but all I need is like 5 feet.
