    TOYOTA TIS Techstream

I also struggled with installing Tech Stream until I found this thread. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/how-to-techstream-in-5-minutes.1034923/ Essentially you install virtual box then download the "machine" that the original poster has already setup correctly with techstream. I got it to...

    Seattle Area Maintenance and Meet

If you end up stopping in Roslyn swing by The Brick Saloon for a bite to eat. Pretty cool place and I really enjoy the food. Even if you don't stop- look it up. Some cool history to it.

Thinking of moving on to an 80 series. Thoughts?

Boiiii you wild. I have a GX470. 3rdgenfan My buddy Eric had a highly modified 80 series that he used for overland type travel (not weekend trips to forest service roads, but like driving to the end of the Dempster Highway in the Arctic Circle). It had all the lockers, gears, winch, storage...

I found "The One", 2001 Sport Ed. TRD SC'd

Glad to see the ol’ 4Runner still being put through the paces. I too paid to have my timing belt changed a few months ago. It was nice: dropped it off in the morning, told them I was going snowboarding so they gave me a new RX as a loaner, got some turns in, headed back to a nice clean...

    CarFax Reports

I sent the guy an e-mail and his new site is AutoVHR.com A little more expensive @ $7.99 but still MUCH cheaper, and I have actually used him in the past, so that's comforting (for me at least). He said it's now set up so that after payment goes through the report should appear in about 10...

    CarFax Reports

For future folks, I used a dude on reddit (/user/GetCarfaxHistory) when I was looking for my GX. Sent him $4-5 via PayPal (I forget how much it was) and every time he e-mailed me a Carfax report within 30 minutes- usually within 5-10 minutes. He used to have a website, but it appears to be...

    Road Bull's 2002 SR-5 timeline.

I just realized I was out there on the 14th of January last year as well, haha... All of those big puddles were frozen over though! https://www.flickr.com/photos/118613423@N07/albums/72157675586780563 It used to be wayyyy more mild. The entryway with the big mounds of dirt? That was a...

    Road Bull's 2002 SR-5 timeline.

Good to finally meet you and I'm glad you had a good time. It's crazy how much Tahuya has changed since I was last there just a few months ago.

Wonky steering after new UCA install.

10k is wild. Mine was maybe a couple hundred miles. Is your commute backing in and out of your driveway without turning?

FS 5th Gen. Full Length Roof Racks by drabbits

I think you live near me. I have seen you in the Kennydale area a few times. Used to have a very modified green 3rd gen and now a silver GX470

Blistein suspension feels like a boat in the rear

Did you not modify the panhard setup at all? If so, it's going to want to walk and probably feel a little like you're on a boat. Hit up eimkeith for one of his Panhard correction kits

FS 3rd gen, Icon 2.5" Piggyback rear shocks. LV NV

I ran these shocks for quite some time and never had any issues with them. I think I rebuilt mine at about 65k miles as one of them had began leaking.

    Winter Coilover Prep - Wax?

Granted I have never driven in an area that heavily salts roads, but in the winter I like to take my vehicle to one of those drive in carwashes every couple of weeks and spray the undercarriage off. I'm not sure how I feel about using a coilover cover to keep salt out... If it gets in that'll...

LEDs for rear plate..anyone run them?

I've used VLEDs for many years. Cheaper products simply do not compare. And they ship from Bellingham, WA so I typically get my orders next day :)
