2005 sport edition I had the same light come on and turned out to be a bad alternator for me. Many places will check it for free. Good luck! Hope it is not your alternator because that was a tough fix.

Ok I figured as much, just trying to save my knuckles from some dings

I am having a difficult time removing my old alternator because the power steering pulley is in the way. Is there a trick to getting it out without removing the pulley? Belt tensioner and belts have already been removed. I need basically about 1/4 inch and I could get it off
