I think you can use that as a good negotiating point. If the price is right and not looking to sell it in next 3-4 years, then go for it. Although, I am surprised on how Toyota CPO'ed the car with the damage?

I had just replaced mine with Safelite. They install the PPG glass and I have no complaints. The OEM glass is around 1000$.

If the option 1 is clean compared to option 2, ask the dealer to add Platinum warranty (800 cost) to the CPO at that price. I prefer the cleaner car (with full coverage warranty) over option 2. Mileage is not an issue, because you are getting warranty for 44K miles.

I had a 2008 V6 couple years ago. The V6 is strong/powerful, but I like the V8 better. Since you are not concerned about gas mileage(and coming from a M3), I would suggest you to find a V8. There are quite a few V8's available in the United states and I am sure you can find some very good ones...

I just bought a 2007 Sport Edition 4X4 V8. When I was shopping, I test drove couple SR5's and a Sport edition. I felt the SR5 suspension to be soft and I like the ride with the XREAS.
